So what about Leatherworking?

Post » Mon Jul 19, 2010 8:32 am

Arent you THAT person that always wants to be the classic northern warrior? or a ranger thief that assinates people? Ive heard in an interview with Todd Howard that The 3 Proffesions: Alchemy, Smithing, and Enchanting will be the 3 main proffesions. But what about leatherworking? I remember him saying Helping woodcutters see people work on tanning leather. But still no leatherworking confirmed...

Have u got any idea? or is it included in the smithing? I always wanted to know this because i dont like to be the Cliché Warrior i want to be an Assasin that strikes enemy's with a dagger and blow them away with a bow. and creates his leather own armor and wooden bows.

Anyways it would be pity if it would not be in the game except the metal armor and weapons but i will sure be dissapointed.

Sorry for my bad grammar i am not fully fuctioning.

Like everyone says, "Todd says that PCs will be able to do things NPCs can do".
That's practically what I know. At the least.

Yes indeed but i think he means: You maybe can tan leather and cut some wood and receive some money. but not the hard materials to use it, for the not confirmed proffesion

I'm pretty sure leatherworking was confirmed, and I bet it will be part of smithing.

I've been wondering about this since Todd said it in that Inside Gamer video interview. I'm not exactly sure what it will entail though.

being that in smithing you will be able to repair armor, and there is leather armor, i would think that leather working will be an extension of smithing.
