Just completed the Legion play-through.

I liked it. There was more action then doing the NCR's and it was more easy. It only got hard when fighting the armored soldiers and NCR Ranger Veterans. Did anyone else like the Legion after they played it? Quests were easier then the NCR's as well.

Also, am advertising my Red Dawn story here. Please take a look at it if you can and leave a comment. Thanks!

I was intrigued by all Vulpus and Phoenix's boasting; but after I met Casar, I like them less because he just don't know what he's doing.

So I carry on and kill him with the auto-doc, only find out Lanius would take over instead of me or Arcade :sadvaultboy:

I was extremely disillusioned. I loved the concept of the Legion (despite the flaws) and was indeed true to Ceasar, but although the build up was great, the lack of quests for the Legion was bitterly disappointing. With the NCR, I geniunely felt as if I were a member, but with the Legion... nah, because there was nothing to do. Hell, the one time I could partake in a small battle (Nelson vs Forlorn Hope), it turns out I fight on my own... brilliant. I know those were orders, but still, it would have been much more entertaining.

The lack of locations frustrated me, too. Of course, I understand that the Mojave is not Ceasar's land, but I expected more than one base and perhaps two other small outposts. The Legion appears to be well organised, and a result of that is the quick, efficient mobilisation of legionnaries, but where could they come from? Arizona isn't far, true, but surely they'd need some in the Mojave region -- I saw nothing of this.

It just came across as if Obsidian were heavily biased towards the NCR. Don't get me wrong, the NCR was done brilliantly, but it was almost as if they didn't care for the Legion. Oh, well.

I have too much of a deep seeded hatred of the Legion to seriously play as them. Everytime I think "This character will be the one" I always end just killing the Vulpus guy right in the beggining when you go to that burned town because he comes off as arrogant and just plain creepy/sketchy....and I make a living off of killing arrogant, creepy/sketchy people. NCR 1st Recon all the way, baby!!! :gun:

It would be nice if there were more Legion quests. The NCR has 23 side quests to their name; Legion has four, and might I add that the Legion's are very, VERY short. I get that they're already well organized, but couldn't your character help them attack NCR outposts? Or help more with espionage? As it is now, playing as a Legionnaire basically involves killing everyone who attacks you....which is just about everyone.
Honestly, the Great Khans and Brotherhood of Steel have more involved side quests than the Legion, and both of theirs actually make you feel like a member of the faction itself.

Vulpes is creepy and annoying. Even more so when you meet him later at the strip. The other legion members are cool and kind of neat being able to be next to Legate and not get totally [censored].

Also, you people should read it before you post the lowest No. I want get noticed so I am trying really hard! :cryvaultboy:

I did not like it. I switched to Very Easy mode as soon as I became vilified by the NCR and I just plowed recklessly through the remainder of the primary quests.

Also, I have no idea what this "Red Dawn" thing is.

I quate like the legion, they're brutal, but so are the NCR, (because if they don't like someone or a assimilated tribe acts up they basically blockade them so they cannot get any food/water/caps until they give up, or they hunt them down like the fiends), I mean at least the legion are honest. I loved the legions story and ending and would definitely play it again. People knock the legion but they have a great and fun story, don't get me wrong I love the NCR just as much.
