I'd like to have a mule or packhorse for extra weight but a back pack sounds like a good idea.

So your saying you have a GIANT backpack that can fit a staff ,robes,armor,a claymore,books,scrolls,torches,soul gems,amulets.several sword/axes,bows,hundreds of arrows AND 50,000 keys and it dosent matter how strong you are to carry all that?If you call THAT realism good sir i fear for you last time I checked that would be a load for some cattle (Yeha) so if you think about all this you will understand a backpack system would be less realstic than saying you have a infinite bag that carries everything and you have to be strong to use it
