House always wins......

Having played NV for a while now, i am getting into the missions from mr house, I have recovered the platinum chip and started the upgrade for the securitrons.
Although i did the mission whilst doing the mission for ceaser, ie. detroying the factory under the weather station, but it still tells me to return to ceaser eventhough i stabbed him in the back so to speak.?
The big question is how does the game end with mr house and is all well?

cheers all andy

Spoiler
House continues to run New Vegas his way, a cold but efficient city, NCR Military and the Legion pushed out of the Mojave, the Brotherhood of Steel is destroyed, and depending your karma, Good- House has pride in you Neutral- I dont recall Evil- House fears you.

Caesar is no the wiser about your betrayal.
As for House being all well, that depends on your actions so far, the quest you did and how you view the factions/towns of the game-world.
All outcomes depend on how you went about certain quests as well as who you sided with in the end.

I can really only think of one "bad" thing about the House ending, and that is:
Spoiler
The Kings get wiped out when Mr. House tries to extend his control over Freeside.

As far as I know, there is no way to change this particular part of the ending.

Actually, if you convince the Kings to attack the NCR, then Mr. House will spare them :celebration:

There is a way, if you're willing to betray a confidence and kill a Good Samaritan to do it.

Spoiler
Do GI Blues, tell the King about Major Kiernan handing out food to NCR squatters but do not tell him about the emissary she sent to him that got beaten half to death by Pacer...causing the NCR to drop any attempt to work with the Kings and help the Freesiders. When the fight breaks out between the Kings and Kiernan and her men, go kill them all like the King asks to you. The King would be furious if he ever learned what you did but it's enough to convince House to spare the Kings.
