Are you all aware of this?

A simple storyline that lacks depth
Not having enough choices and consequences in the game
Level scaling
A "Slash, slash, slash, block, finishing move" combat style
Having quest markers and a quest compass
Fast travel in Skyrim
Todd giving misleading information about Skyrim's features
Having too many dragons
Dragons may become the "New Oblivion gates" or possibly the new Cliffracers
Not having seperate armor slots
How powerful magnetism will be
I'm suspicious that the trailer's dragon fight was scripted
Not having open-cities

1: Who's M'aiq?
2: Todd has lied to us once, and according to phsychology, the best way to judge a person's actions in the future is according to his past actions.
3: Dragons are awesome, so no, there can never be too many of them.
4: About fast travel, seriously people... don't like it, DON'T USE IT. People who say this is wrong are simply easily tempted or want this feature in one way or another. With carriages now this discussion is over. I think fast travel in Oblivion was FINE, /discussion.

Come on people, are you serious all this stuff worries you? about 99% of the things you're worrying about hasn't even been confirmed, wait for the game to come out and play it, then judge it, not before. Seriously...

1: A character in both Morrowind and Oblivion, he's a liar, as titled: M'aiq the Liar.

2: Todd didn't "Lie", Beth simply couldn't live up to the expectations they had from RAI in that period of time. And psychology has nothing to do with it, Bethesda is a game company, and Todd isn't the only one making the rules of what's in and out, or what to announce.

3: Dragons are indeed great, but I'm sure there can be too many of them.

4: It's best we don't bring this subject up again (and please refrain from the "Don't like it don't use it" argument as it irritates people around here. And not everyone (including myself) think that Oblivion's fast travel was "Fine".

These people have their full right to be worried about all of these things, as this is a forum for discussing Skyrim, and "Worrying" is a part of it.

NOTE: Welcome to the forums.

People worry about things that are unknown to them. Let them worry. The outcome may blow their minds.

Well I'm not really worried about the more obvious stuff, like a compelling story, choices, and level scaling. I'm pretty sure they've learned from Onlivion to cut down on level scaling and both the story and quest choices in Fallout 3 were pretty good.

I'm more worried about the removal of basic normal RPG elements that the previous games used. Sure, they had flaws, but I also don't understand why Bethesda has suggested with other things like mounts that instead of making improvements they are more likely to just scrap the whole thing. They're trying to be innovative, and that's good, but I'm still unsure whether all this is for the best. I would not want my favorite RPG company to start making general Action-Adventure with small RPG elements.

Nor does any other ES fan. We all want some more missing RPG elements, hopefully they'll be in Skyrim.
Truth is I understand them about not including horses if they won't turn out OK. They want the things in the game to be of quality, not like Oblivion where they just put a horse and included a vehicle driving system for it... I actually felt like I'm reversing when I walked backwards with my horse...

I agree that sometimes the worrying becomes a little crazy sometimes... at times I even think people just try to think of new things to worry about just to have something posted on the forum. But it's in everyone's right to post their opinion, even if they are sometimes baseless and obscured... like that "No jumping" thread... that's why I didn't include the concern of "No jumping" in the list, it was too ridiculous and was based on nothing actually...
