I don't care if the quests are all simple and repetitive I just want them to fit the factions interests

I would like a balance between the short, pointless side quests and the longer side quest lines.

Actually, sometimes there is nothing better than a small and simple side quest like Bear Season IMO. Not every single quest needs to be huge and epic and if the choice stands between 30 huge sidequests and 100 small ones i would definitely take the later, i mean, we already have the main quests and guilds for the longer and more important storylines. But frankly, i would prefer a mix of both.

I'd prefer quality quests with a few simple types sprinkled in.

I would rather say Fallout's style of side quests. There was a good number of them, and they were really well thought out. . The thing with Western RPGs is that they tend to get bogged down with way too many side quests.
