Thoughts of Elder Scroll's Plot

Here's my thoughts on the plotline of Skyrim:

Daggerfall - Dragon Break
Morrowind - Destruction of Lorkhan's Heart
Oblivion - Akatosh banishes Mehrunes Dagon but is injured

I believe that this could be a hint that Akatosh undergoes a cycle:

Lorkhan starts creation
This act causes him to lose his heart, transforming him into Akatosh
In order to change again, the divine essence of Akatosh must be altered again
Dragon Break
Lorkhan's Heart is sundered
The phantom of Akatosh's spirit is wounded and projected through a mortal
As a result, Akatosh becomes Alduin
Alduin is ready to complete the cycle of ending this world

Wow, I hadn't thought of that. Does seem like a good hint. ....Agh! I can't wait any longer for Skyrim!! I need closure to all this speculation! But aside, interesting view, does sound very plausible.

Random comment: I like your avatar. (Hellsing ftw?)

On the topic of Lorkhan's heart, it wasn't destroyed. If it was destroyed, the world would've been destroyed. Hence in the beginning, when Lorkhan's heart was ripped out, "My heart is the heart of the world for each was made to satisfy the other." Plus, to say more on Vivec's evilness, he knew how to 'destroy' the heart. Vivec was smart enough to know if the heart was fully destroyed he'd lose his power. Vivec obviously would NOT do this. And no, Vivec was not humble and wanted to end the hearts power of everyone. Vivec, disappears, and he reappears in the 5th Era and writes that Love Letter Michael Kirkbride wrote and talked about. The heart of Lorkhan had to have been moved which is why Akatosh was able to manifest himself within Tamriel at the end of Oblivion. On top of all this, Lorkhan was a God, you're not going to destroy a god's heart even with some tools. And on the tools of Kagrenac, we do not know actually what they did. We assumed they destroyed the heart, but Vivec knew of their true purpose. They were tools to move the heart. It could've moved the heart and lessened Dagoth's Power. We merely weakened the heart, which weakened Dagoth Ur. We did not destroy the heart or Nirn would've been destroyed, being it IS the heart of the world.

Yeah, Alduin is Akatosh creator AND destroyer of time, odd though, because ive got a feeling they are going to look totally different in the games, akatosh in oblivion is a snake type dragon and ive got a feeling Alduin will be a europeon epic grey elder style dragon... but anyways...ive got a feeling the whole Dragon invading thing may be just a first wave for the Tsaesci (the Akaviri vampiric snake overlords of the dragons, now extinct i think) BUT this isnt what i hope, id rather its the Dragons that are going to try and prove they are better than the Tsaesci ever where by invading Tamriel, and even though the Dragons are the bad dudes i want to see one beat the crap out of a Tsaesci for some odd reason xD

Akatosh and Lorkhan are not the "same person." They are the King and the Rebel, pitted against each other constantly. They are a dichotomy. They are not the same. I also think labeling Lorkhan as an antagonist isn't correct either. I'm sure the Mer would agree, as they view Lorkhan as a trickster and traitor, but my beliefs line up more with men. Lorkhan is the ultimate good-guy. He created Mundus and he gave his heart up to Mundus as a gift. He showed mortals the paths of success through his own failure.

I think you're right about the Dovahkiin being like the Nerevarine, but only up to that point. With Alduin, who is Akatosh, being the "antagonist" of Skyrim, it would make logical sense for the Dovahkiin to be a Shezzarine; a Lorkhan-incarnate, like Pelinal or Wulfharth. Who else could possibly take on Alduin if not Shor?

No... I'm tempted to say that you're over-thinking things, but that would imply that the Elder Scrolls isn't just as deep as (if not much deeper than) you present it.
You're just on the wrong track, on many things, I believe.

Now onto Oblivion, what do we do at the end? Akatosh seals Mehrunes Dagon.

counter lore nerd time!

Akatosh did not Seal Mehrune Dagon personally away, he strengthened the dragonfires so no deadric prince could INVADE. Dagon could open a portal as long as it were non-hostile, but that goes against his nature.

Im still hoping that you are Alduin's avatar on Nirn. And that your "journey" is to determine whether life as it stands should be allowed to continue, or whether its high time to "reset the clock" as it where.(get it, god of time... reset the clock...) LOL

Although on one part, I was irritated how Mannimarco appeared in Cyrodiil. He was extremely... weak. Didn't expect that.

Personally, I don't actually think that was mannimarco, I just think it was some wannabe high elf who claimed to be, and convinced others he was... Possibly more adept with illusion magic than anything involved with necromancy lol. that is why he carried that cute little staff, to make others believe he was, in fact, a necromancer lol.

So what happens when my badass dovakhiin breaks the cycle by causing a dragon break, and destroying Alduin before he can finish said cycle?

I think it's more in accordance with lore to assume that it was Mannimarco; but merely a mortal Mannimarco left weakened after the Warp in the West from the God-Mannimarco's ascension.
The warp created parallel Mannimarcos; one who recieved the totem and became a god, and one who didn't; and the one who didn't was left all the worse for the lack.

Did the warp in the west create a split mannimarco? Or us that speculation? Cuz it would definitely make sense. if that is the case, you think Theres a chance the god version ever manifests itself in the mundus? Cuz I really wanna have a plot line that revolves around destroying the real mannimarco  you know, something akin to how we killed dagoth ur in MW?

Well, dragon breaks are capable of creating paradoxes like one person appearing in two places at once, so it is possible, and fits what we know about the Warp in the West. It is just speculation, but I think it's reasonable speculation.
And yes, the god version does manifest in Nirn. It was in Oblivion, in fact; The Necromancer's Moon. That's the mortal perception of Mannimarco's Divinity.

The "god" Mannimarco is a moon orbiting Arkay that makes a strange light appear in the sky.

Ahh I see. okay so better question, is it possible for that manifestation to be as a creature as opposed to the necromancers moon? Or I guess they could have a reincarnation, kind of like nerevarine?

Well there couldn't be a reincarnation. That's a different affair entirely.

I don't know enough about the nature of Mannimarco's godhood to say whether or not an avatar would be possible, but I would think so.

Yeah, reincarnation was a bad word to use I guess lol. I'm Just hoping mannimarco gets some face time in skyrim, especially since the Mages guild has dissolved into nothing. personally I think it would be a good time to make a move. plus, there will be no shortage of nord bodies to use... Or dragon bodies for that matter =D Hahaha.

Yeah, it'd be cool to see the necromancers and the God-King of Worms get some proper treatment. Skryim would definitely be a good setting for it.

But I doubt Bethesda will do that after having an entire guild questline devoted to the same thing in Oblivion.

Idk, I think bgs is more into the thinking that necromancy is a welcome addition to each game, kind of like a fighters guild, or how the blades were prevalent in past games. whether mannimarco will make an appearance, and whether said appearance does justice to who (or what, at this point) mannimarco is, I can hope, but I wont hold my breath.
