Do Companions Weapons count as Damage?

Post » Fri Sep 17, 2010 6:00 pm

hey all, I'm in the process of trophy hunting now as I've beat every ending, and i'm on the trophies that sau "Get 10,000 DMG with ____ type of weapon". I was wondering if your companions weapons count towards your damage? I'm on the second to last one (energy weapons), and i have Arcade Gannon and ED-E with me, and they both have energy weapons, so i want to know if their damage counts towards mine (their kills do, why not damage?) Thanks

Don't think it does.
Why not just create an EW character and play through the game again?
That way you'll earn the achievement and get twice the fun.

Not to my knowledge, just as drinking water from a sink does not grant you the Camel of the Mojave award.
There is a glitch that makes disintergration kills rack up, I doubt it adds damage to the challange you want though.

One way to get those achievements up, is to make a build with two or three weapon skills tagged and the stats focused on that.
This way you do a fair bit of switching early on, building up the damage meter.

Also, if you do this you get to see the different effects stats have in game, and the different routes you can take.
