they once maked that mistake in Fall Out , not soon after that they did have a DLC wich covert that up ...

I am pretty fine you can play afterwards the main quest is over ...

Or the game ends by Alduin eating the world .... But than the TeS series is over.

Yes you can. The only reason you couldn't play after Fallout 3's story line was because that was supposed to put the series into closure and end with your death. But people cried foul and that is why we play after the main quest in Fallout 3. The Elder Scrolls is a different series however. :)

It would be a massive HERPDERP if they didn't. Every other TES as far as I'm aware has had the ability to continue on.
Imagine the crying on here if the game ended and sent you to the start screen after the MQ. It would render the sand box nature of the game redundant.

Of course, you can. The game's not Fallout 3.....

But it wouldn't matter anyway, because....

they once maked that mistake in Fall Out , not soon after that they did have a DLC wich covert that up ...

....it wasn't a mistake in Fallout 3, I played 50+ hours after "finishing" the main quest, without the DLC. And that DLC was the biggest mistake they made, since it screwed up FAR more than it "fixed".

(Broken Steel was aptly named, since it just broke so much about that game.)
