Discovered screenshot clues.

Throat of the World is that close to Solitude?

That structure in the smaller image is High Hrothgar which is located on the southern half of the map atop Throat of the World. The town in the full screenshot is the northern most city in Skyrim AKA Solitude.

Actually, they couldn't be much farther apart.

Lol bro come on.

You're both talking about different things. DB1 is reffering to the supposed "High Hrothgar" in the image, DD is refering to the actual High Hrothgar.

Thank you... I thought he was talking about my posts for a minute there.

@Dragonborn1: High Hrothgar is nestled at the top of the Throat of the World. The Throat of the World is the tallest mountain in Skyrim. Like I said before, the mountain in the screenshot being discussed is not the Throat of the World and that is not High Hrothgar being pointed out. It's just a bundle of trees. The camera is not even pointing in the direction the actual High Hrothgar is. It's pointing toward the coastline. The Throat of the World is really on our 4 o'clock.

Yea I know that TotW is the tallest mountain and that's where HH is, so that's why I was confused at first by the OP.

I just went back to your first post and it all made sense from the beginning haha. OP was grasping for straws there.

uhhh... maybe. We are seriously starting to over anolyze stuff now, though. Devs would see this and be like, "good god... what have we done?"

This is nothing compared to the "TES:V Speculation Thread" that was the only source of life here before the game actually got announced. We didn't have the luxury of over-anolyzing screenshots. Instead, we would over-anolyze tweets, e-mails, phone calls, trademark data, Polish news articles, that sort of thing.

In all honesty, though, I have never seen the Imperial guards before. I love their armor.

I have to agree, it did look kind of green to me too. O well, at least we already have a screen of what orcs look like. :turned:

This isn't as bad as my thread about a giant/statue silhouette made in the negative space between clouds on a mountain, lol.

I remember that thread haha. I saw the Giant, or what appears to really look like one.

Good times, good times.

I remember mostly when we were sure that Elder Scrolls V would be announced at just about every next upcoming video game event/news source out there. Then in December I stopped caring, and was pleasantly surprised...

I remember that some people were so adamant that it would be a next gen title.
