Dragons and other Creatures / Enemies

I would imagine a lot of our fights with dragons may end up covering a fairly large area of the map, particularly if you decide to run away and get chased. There's a reasonable chance then that you might run into other enemies along the way.

How will other enemies react to this? If, for instance your fight encroaches on a giant's territory, will the giant start to throw rocks and boulders at the dragon? Or will it just ignore the situation?

Or if the fight encroaches on a bandit camp, will the bandits completely ignore the dragon like it's not even there and attack you?

Guards and other friendly NPCs will obviously react appropriately to dragons, but i'm curious about other enemies and creatures.

This is a very good question. I wonder if an enemy will stop fighting you and help aid in a dragon encounter? Isn't there's piece of concept art where there's a couple people getting pushed back by a dragon? I believe it's from GI's coverage back in January.

I see a third option, as summed up by the punchline to an old joke: "I don't have to outrun that bear dragon, I just have to outrun you!" ;)

If it's a lone roamer I expect him to throw away everything and go "RUUUUUUN!!!!!" while I expect bigger bands and large creatures to stop with whatever they're doing and stand their ground.

Can't wait to see a Mammoth and/or Giant go head on with a dragon atop a mountain in a snowstorm!
