Buggy?

Post » Thu Oct 14, 2010 11:00 am

I've been playing since launch day and have had a few crashes (maybe 6) not unlike Fallout 3 when it was released. I have not experienced any of the location or npc related bugs anyone has mentioned. Am i just lucky or is playing on PC really that much better? I know its not because my lil bro is playing on 360 and has experienced one freeze period.

So whats up?

I'm on PC and haven't experienced a single crash, freeze or noticeable drop in framerate.

I had problems with Fallout 3 though, and I had to clean my system and learn what not to have installed in order to be able to play it without problems, as a I still was up until NV released. I'd suggest giving your system a good clean and updating all your drivers, and working with it until you can play without issues. My problems with Fallout 3 were my end, but only because I guess the way these games are put together makes for problems, and Gamebyro... is extremely uh, temperamental. lol

I'm playing on the 360 since the 21st and I've only had one freeze and some kind of low-res glitch where everything looked plasticy but that only lasted like 5 seconds. I have no idea what these people are talking about with these glitches.

See thats why I started this, when i bought it i expected it to crash (sounds silly, but I went throught the launch of FO3) But a few crashes in 80hrs of gameplay, Looks to me like its going to just be a typical gamesas release. (meaning in the next few months {through patches} it will run smooth as butter and never freeze again). By far noth the buggiest game ever. At least not my copy on my machine.

I've had about 7 crashes on PS3 in which I needed to hard reboot my console, but I came to expect such things so I save often and I have been lucky so far.

Not a single bug/crash/freeze in 40 hours of gameplay, either.
