Two handed weapons are two handed because they are two big to hold in one hand. So maybe if you got your strength high enough.

strength removed confirmed sorry pal.

nice half off all answers here is like "no no just no its so unrealistic" i assume the most only read the title and post their sentence and go to the next thread

well if xivilai can it why not I if i can kill them in 2-3 hits why should it be denied to me ?

and this dual wielding 2hands would be nice and really anyone who complains about realistic should just jump from a cliff ingame and die.... oh but wait you can load a savegame seems really unrealistic to me!

So, would it level up 1 handed, or 2 handed?

I would loathe seeing 2 handers used in each hand by NPC's. If it was an option for the player only (as in with a perk), then I could tolerate it as I would never use it. There is also a large difference between what the Xivlivai did and having a 2 hander in each hand. I prefer my game to not be like an anime.

Wanna know why it doesn't work?

Go grab two broom sticks, hold them with only 2 fingers each, right at the very end of the handle and try to swing them around in some useful manner. Thats why you can't do it.

The whole concept of dual wielding two handed weapons is a little lame IMO. As has been stated they're TWO handed weapons, so unless you're some colossus with four arms I don't see how its possible. Remember the Devs build the game to fit with the lore of TES, for the most part. Blatantly obliterating this would mean its not really TES.

Never.
Sure if you are strong enough you can hold one in each hand but... Try fighting effectively with them. You can't.

How about triplewielding those. Just use "summon hand on self for 30 seconds" before.

Even Mehrunes Dagon thinks this is a stupid idea, and he's got four arms.

See.... that's exactly why I think it should be possible.

To me, the way to deal with things like that is not to just arbitrarily say, "No - you can't do it," but to make it so that you can do it, but make it realistic, which is to say, obviously ineffective. The weapon would be too heavy and long to handle well with one hand, it wouldn't do much more damage, if any, with one hand (and might even end up doing less than a blade made for one hand), you'd be defenseless as soon as something got inside of your reach, it'd burn through stamina very quickly, and I'm sure there are more problems I'm not thinking of right at the moment.... so fine. If somebody wants to swing a heavy weapon slowly and poorly and do less damage - go for it. At least his opponents will get a good laugh out of it before they kill him.

Done
Now you can't kill monsters, raid, no weapons, armors, elves are gone, no magic, and no quest or adventuring.

Oh and the games been cancled cause its too much like the Sims.

Somebody took this wayyyyyyyyy too literal and completely missed my point.... :slap:

You...I do not like at the moment. :prod: lol

I hope I can dual wield two handed weapons.

I hope not. It would totally wreck the whole purpose of two-handed weapons.
