Shift your Ass Veronica!

What have you guys done to get your companion actually moving again? Atm Veronica is standing in the rubble of Boulder City and wont move a muscle after exhausting the partner wheel getting her to wait then follow again to see if it would reactivate her, but that's not working. I'm tempted to just get rid of her but i'm in the middle of doing her quest and she's also doing a good job of my personal pack mule.... Any help?

If swearings not alowed in the title feel free to change it or whatever. :)

First, I would make a hard save with her in the picture so you will know where she is at and try some of the following (if you haven’t done so already)

Fire her and if she starts to walk away follow her for a while and rehire her. (I might even let her go all the way back to 188.

Fast travel to a couple of places to see if she will pick back up her follow package.

Keep trying those type things and if all else fails, hopefully, you have a recent save you could revert to? (Personally, I rarely go more than 10 or 15 minutes at the longest without making a new ‘hard” save.)

As long as they are set to follow, just enter a building/fast travel and they will warp with you.

(on 360) Fast travel seemed to work for me. At one point, Veronica completely disappeared and didn't show up
Spoiler
until I got closer to the BoS near Sloan
. Then she suddenly showed up with her trusty Rebar Club (on steroids) and with all the equipment I gave her, until I can find a place this crap.

Fast travel doesn't work that's how i initially found out something was wrong, i thought i completly lost her until i was on my way to the dam and was like wtf is that Veroncia?! Also how did you get her to use the Rebar Club, shes got one near perfect condition but she just sticks to her crappy combat knife.

Vault 22, take the elevator, all companions come back even if you told them to wait somewhere.

I had Veronica freeze up, and fixed it by firing and then re-hiring her. Fast-travelling didn't work, and I don't remember whether I tried going into a building or not.

(BTW, it seemed to me that Veronica had more bugs than the other companions.)

The only time I saw Veronica freeze up, was when she was eyeing up a dancer in Gomorrah. I think that was part of the game though :hubbahubba:

I haven't travelled with Veronica but one time Boone wouldn't follow and I discovered he was out of ammo. I gave him some and then he did. I didn't do the fast-travel or change areas though. He might have followed then too. Good luck. :)
