Soooooo.....Last night after work I made a point to get the Rat Slayer. Not a big deal right? But thats where im wrong! I

Im currently playing on hardcoe/Hard for my first play through and i gotta say its pretty damn hard. This game rocks for the simple reason that i literally spent 3hrs completing this task. I was a little under lvl so the enemies where rocking me so i took a tactiful approach to combat with a lil bit of stealth boy in there for good measure. Whats great is the fact that this 3hr ordeal only involved me having to travel to Nipton..make sure i had supplys (food and water/ammo) and then looting the gun from the cave. But really? 3hrs and just 2 locations found (nipton and The place where the rat slayer is..being vague as i dont want to post spoilers). Just goes to show the scale this game is on its great

Why bother playing in hardcoe mode if you are going to cheat by using guides to find where all the best weapon locations and stuff are, may as well just play on very easy.

Didnt use a guide? asked on the forums and found it my self
