Are you all aware of this? II

The only thing I'm even slightly worried about, is not being able to see my legs in first person. Every time I look down in Morrowind, Oblivion, Fo3, and New Vegas, I'm reminded "Oh yeah, I'm a floating pair of arms and eyes." It wouldn't break the game if it was like that again, but it would certainly make it a lot better. For me at least.

I have another option for your list: Invincible children breaking immersion. This is my one and only fear for Skyrim, because I see no way for it to be avoided.

I'll never understand people who constantly worry about the game on the PC being downgraded for consoles. That just isn't how a game like this is made. If it was, there wouldn't be options for better graphics on the PC (like low, medium, high, and ultra). You'd just have low, which is what the console gets if they actually downgraded the PC version to accommodate the console. Imo, such concerns are not based on reality or knowledge, just irrational fears.

I have another option for your list: Invincible children breaking immersion. This is my one and only fear for Skyrim, because I see no way for it to be avoided.

I have already included it in the options: "Being limited in-game due to children being invincible."

However, we will not discuss this topic around this thread.

By the way, new ranks!:
Top 10 concerns for now are:
  • First place with 61 votes: Not having separate armor slots.
  • Second place with 60 votes: The possibility of no spell-making.
  • Third place with 53 votes: A simple storyline that lacks depth.
  • Forth place with 52 votes: NOT HAVING M'AIQ THE LIAR! (I knew people would come around)
  • Fifth place with 51 votes: Having quest markers and a quest compass.
  • Sixth place with 51 votes: The removal of birthsigns.
  • Seventh place with 51 votes: Not having enough choices and consequences in the game.
  • Eighth place with 51 votes: Level scaling.
  • Ninth place with 48 votes: Not having open-cities.
  • Tenth place with 47 votes: Skyrim may have less role playing options.
  • Tenth place with 47 votes: Dragons may become the "New Oblivion gates" or possibly the new Cliffracers.

I'm glad that not having M'aiq the Liar came on forth place, I think it deserves first place though. Apparently not having spell-making is the most troublesome concern altogether with not having separate armor slots. Personally, I don't share the concern for spell-making, but I would be sad if there weren't many armor equipping options.

EDIT: Notice there are two tenth places because they both scored the same, and I can't really say what bothers people more... so they share the tenth place together...

I'm worried about the level scaling, the story (though it seems that it is pretty good) and the dragons..I hope they won't give me nightmares.Cliff racers...cliff racers...cliff racers...

A simple storyline that lacks depth
Having quest markers and a quest compass
Not having enough choices and consequences in the game

A good story and interesting quests are the most important things in RPGs for me.

That's why Planescape: Torment, Arcanum and Fallout 1 are my favourite RPGs :celebration:
