I got the mission "For Auld Lang Syne". I was in the middle of another mission with Cass, I think, so I dismissed him and finished Cass'. When I came back I dismissed Cass but Arcade wouldn't join me. I looked the bug up and it said to fire Ed-E, and Arcade should join. I fired Ed-E (told him to go back to Primm WHATEVER) but it didn't work. I reloaded and told Ed-E to go to the Lucky 38...didn't work.

I would appreciate help from anybody who ran into a similar problem, thanks.

I had trouble recruiting Arcade.

I could only get him to join me if I had NO companions at all with me.

Is your Speech Skill 75 or more? Do you have a high rep with the Followers? He won't join you if you have a good rep with the Legion.
