Perception affect ADS accuracy?

Post » Wed Nov 10, 2010 11:06 am

1 quick question - I noticed during this playthrough I dont use VATS nearly as much as I did in FO3...

been looking around and havn't found much ---

Does perception affect your accuracy in regards to ADS (AirmDownSight)?? It's all i really use, (CoD GB Star  lulz)

and also does the Fast Trigger Trait or whatever its called noticibly decrease your accuracy when ADS or is it just in VATS?

Optional I think... There is a setting for "true Ironsights"... Never tried it though.

Perception (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/PE) seems to not affect accuracy.

fast shot increases the spread of the shots outside of VATS. at high skill it's somewhat neglible, unless long distance sniping. it's almost a bad choice not to pick that trait given how powerful it is, making trigger disipline seem really lame. even with vats, just picking gunslinger or commando negates any penalties.

perception appears to effect the spread of energy weapons but not guns.

I tested this earlier, 10 perception will decrease weapon sway and shot grouping of energy weapons only.
Did not effect my sniper rifle.
So it appears to do what it says it does.
This was with 100 guns/energy didn't try with lower skill levels.

I agree about VATS.
For a sniper, on PC at least, VATS is pretty much worthless. Manual aiming is so much better.
