Hey, all that have completed Fallout New Vegas with NCR more than once, or just heard about it, know you don't HAVE to blow up the B.O.S before the Hoover Dam Battle. Not blowing them up results in a small loss of NCR fame but I always believe it's worth it because their effective, plus just all out bad ass! My first time I put Hardin in so I had to blow them up :swear:

What do you usually do now?

I normally let them live and ally them with the NCR.

Its funny first time i did a legion playthrough, realised i had to kill the BoS, then turned on Ceaser and wiped out the fort

I let them live/ignored them in my First/NCR Playthrough.
I usually blow them up because Caesar says, "You gotta blow em' up!" Then he blanks out because he has a tumor in his head

I keep Elder McNamara and get them to make an alliance. It was cool at the Dam to see them fighting to stop the Legion too and I liked their end scene.

I usually don't have any problems blowing them up, unless my current role prevents me from doing that.

I am glad we can avoid the BoS as much as we can in New Vegas. Would be better to be able to totally avoid them like we can in FO1 and FO2. Still I let them live the first time.
