Title says all. Which is better in your opinion? I'm frazzled between the two.

I can only vote for Maria, since I haven't found Lucky yet. I prefer the mysterious pistol out of em all... The music when you holster/unholster is amazing.

Maria!

Lucky is good, but the reload time is lame :( And it's so tiny. It shoots really fast though! :()

Lucky does not exist in my current game, I looked all over where it was susposed to be, unless I looked in the wrong place.

I'm just sad you can't put a silencer on a 9mm, like seriously? You can put a scope on it, but not a silencer.

There's soooooo many action movies with silenced 9mm-ers, was like the first thing I thought when I first booted and got it. "Man gonna' be shweet to put a silencer on this thing."

Nope.

Doesn't matter, the professional makes pistols god like with some other perks and traits. I think its 20% sneak crit damage, add in 9 luck plus finesse (+5% crit chance in combat) plus some mods.

Scoped .44 is amazing indoors where you only get 1-2 shots anyway before you get found out.

Spoiler
is lucky revolver in the bison hotel in pimm?

I called my Character Lucky. He won 30,000 Bottle caps and got thrown out of all the casinos.

But, Maria is boss.

I can only vote for Maria, since I haven't found Lucky yet. I prefer the mysterious pistol out of em all... The music when you holster/unholster is amazing.

Spoiler
The Lonesome Drifter (If that's his name) talks about how his dad left him when he was young, and how he left him the Magnum... Does that mean that his father was the Mysterious Stranger himself? And that he left him for the Lone Wanderer of Fallout 3?

...Who knows? :o

It's a close call - I voted Lucky, just because I think it's a little more stylish, and 'wild-west'. Maria is probably better in combat due to the much larger clip size and faster reloading. I did pick 'fast loader' perk though because I knew I would want to use a lot of pistols.

I haven't used either much yet, having acquired them both recently. In fact, I went on a bit of a quest - also have the Mysterious Magnum (does about 5 million dmg I think, and the animation makes it look like your arm is going to fly off due to recoil. Not to mention it plays music when you draw it!) and That Gun. My favorite is actually That Gun, even though it is probably the worst ......but it's still good. Small clip, but pretty fast reload, and it's from Blade Runner. I probably make things harder on myself by using it more than I should, against tougher opponents (went to Black Mountain for the first time.......I think I'll go back with a ginormous rifle next time....). Not to mention my character just has 3 str (based on, you guessed it, Doc Holliday, who was sickly, but very fast and accurate), but I took weapon handling last level, so now just 1 pt away from str requirement. Good thing he's an alcoholic --- +1 str - so he is actually more accurate when a bit tipsy!

As for scopes, on pistols at least, I guess they are good for accuracy, but I find them distracting if I'm in the middle of a medium range combat. The view change throws me off.

Hmm, at some point I'll find some unique Guns. Only ones I have so far are That Gun and the BB gun. Plenty of unique energy weapons, melee weapons, explosive weapons. Not so many Guns. (Guess which skill I'm focusing on.... :D )
