Not sure, prolly about 60 maybe 70% from the original pricing, especially if your disc and manual etc are in mint condition.
Not sure but thusfar i haven't heard anything about Fable 3 being buggy, amazing aint it, the one company i loathe for Molyneux always embeleshing everything is bringing a finished WORKING non buggy game.

Gamestop will rip you off.

First off, call them up. Second I think you will get squat for it. Put it this way, for you to get a new game free, you have to give up 3 or 4 new games to get it. So my guess is about $20 for it if you are lucky. You might get Fable free if you trade in Halo Reach, Fallout New Vegas and some other game that just came out, so not much for it.

At most you will get $30 unless they have some kind of trade in offer going. The longer a game is out, the less you get when you trade it in. I used to work there.

I'm not sure how much you can get for selling it online, but around where I live, gamestop will give you more money than the smaller game stores.

Why in the hell would you want fable over FO?

You would get much more on auction sites. If you are going to take it to gamestop, make sure you have the card to get 10% more and get store credit.

The general rule of how Gamestop works for trade-ins and 'used' games

1) They find the value of the game at the time. (for a brand-new one like New Vegas, usually MAYBE $5 cheaper than new)

2) Cut that $ amount in half

3) That's what you'll get. From what I've heard, though, sometimes it's closer to 1/3 the current market value.

So if you paid $60. expect between $20-30 at best unless it's a collector's edition or the like. add 10% if you have their power-rewards card or whatever it is

Umm, doesn't the fact the reg-key is locked to your steam account render reselling it impossible? (ie you've essentially paid for a long-term lease, not purchased the product).

Or is there some way around this?

Most Gamestop stores won't quote a trade in price over the phone...at least in my area they wont. Also no game stop pays over $15 for any title unless there is a special advertised deal going on.

Sometimes you can get OK value trading into Gamestop. Using the "25% towards new vegas" and the 10% for edge card I got like $40 for Halo: Reach last week.

I just read on the gamefaqs board you can get 25 bucks, plus Power Trade 25% towards games the Call of Duty: Black Ops, Fable III, and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2. So you will get around 30 bucks for it.

But I did get that info from the gamefaqs board, keep that in mind.

I know this from past experience. If you just sell the disk you get about 30% of the current store price, if you include the case they'll give you around 35% of the current store price, finally if you have an edge card on top of that you can get approximately 40% of the current store price.

Yeah usually they don't give quotes because they get tons of calls about people asking how much some obscure game is worth. They have to log into the computer and do a search for it, most of the time while customers are there. So usually they just say they can't, or at least I do, lol.

I would say $20-25 without any bonuses, substantially less of crash (I always feel the need to say that). I wouldn't be shocked if they did $15-17.50, it's a big game, but not a HUGE game.

Try and sell it to someone before you trade in, unless you have some terrible crap games (or old and never played) and they have a ripping offer going. Sometimes you can get a decent amount, I traded in Assassin's Creed II and some other old games and they had a trade in 'X' and get 30 or 40% more and there was a couple other things that the computer tacked on. Why it sticks into my mind was I ended up getting $26.74 for AC2 and it was on sale for $29.99 that weekend.

I rarely trade, but sometimes the offers make it well worth it when all you have is a game that sits on a shelf and your buddies will offer you $5.

My Gamestop offered me fifteen bucks. They already had 25-30 copies used. :/

I sold an extra unopened New Vegas CE ( PC ) on E-Bay....paid for both games.

But if it's the vanilla console/PC version don't hold your breath.

They'll sell it as a used game for a discount, so about 40-50% of what they plan on discount selling it for. $15-$30.

In the amount of time it took to post this, you could have picked up the phone and been given a definite answer from those who actually will make that decision.
