i need to get into helios1 to do the quest for the boomers how do i get in???

Approaching from Novac/Gibson Scrapyard, approach the NCR nearest the main door and she will let you in the door.

NO she wont let me in and if i try to walk in she shoots me.

how do i get in?

Ways to get in Helios One:

-Have a good NCR Reputation
-Have good Speech skill (not sure of the exact number)
-Kill all NCR in the area (won't mess up your quest or "That Lucky Old Sun")

If you needed to, there's a backdoor you can sneak in but I think you'll need to pick the lock. Facing the front of the building the backdoor is on the right side of the building.

Speech check is 30 skill to get into Helios 1.

You need to improve your reputation with the NCR then. Try retaking Nelson or something.

if your repair or is it science, forget which, is high enough, you can make repairs without getting the parts.

This is a good option, makes them better too (more xp I think? Sorry, vague memories of this...)

You can sneak in but you need good timing, let the woman talk to you, then back off and press against the wall further along the building, wait till you're hidden then slowly move towards the door, you should be able to reach it and enter whilst hidden, sometimes a guard will look at you but they turn away at some point.
Once you're in you're fine, everyone assumes you're meant to be in there.

The speech check is only 30 so any points in speech/a skill magazine may be able to do it (maybe slug a beer as well, that helps speaking).


Basically, you can sneak in, talk your way in, lockpick your way in, get in by being a goody two shoes in their eyes or if all else fails get the weapon of choice out and start knocking skulls.
