I've been to the East Pump Station a couple times and have finished the quest to clean up the water--at least it has closed...but the pump station terminal still says there is an external problem somewhere. This is what I'm trying to resolve now. I've traced the pipe and found nothing. I read in another post what sounds like there is a West Pump Station but where is that station? Can't find it. I also suspect I have missed something down in the sewers but I don't know what--maybe a door that requires a key? Another reason I think I have missed something is because there is a farmer in the NCR protected fields that is threatening to leave because he can't grow the crops right.

I need spoilers on this please. Thank you.

Are you helping the Sharecroppers? If so the problem is coming from Vault 34.

if you follow the quest marker, it'll lead you to vault 34. you'll find some golden geckoes and a destroyed truck with radioactive barrels nearby.

Yes, I'm helping the sharecroppers. I found the west pump station and its terminal says the same thing. There is no quest open concerning this. Is it possible I missed doing something in vault 34--I have gone through it. What exactly in vault 34 do I need to do--I might remember doing it already or not.

Both pump stations say the water is irradiated from some external source. Hmmm... Give me some spoilers please and I'll go back into vault 34. Thank you.

There is no open quest concerning this--the quest that was open closed successfully I thought...but if it did why do both pump stations still say the water is irradiated? What is the name of this quest--maybe there were two of them and I only did one? Who or what ititally opens the quest?

Okay, I read through the Wiki link and found in my completed quests that I did in fact finish Hard Luck Blues. And confirmed that I took the option to save the farmers crops and doomed the vault residents. The Wiki quest lists several bugs--maybe this is just another one I've discovered? I remember doing all these things needed to do in Vault 34 too.
