So I received a message about the trailer on my xbox from a friend. At first I thought it was a hoax, but I checked it out. I watched it and died inside with joy. Am I the only person that screamed like a fangirl waching it?

I was looking up a review for an ipod game and I pressed back and lo and behold there she was, in all her resplendent glory: "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim". Of course I bolted to the UESP to confirm, and began to weep soon after.

Honestly, when I first found out about it my jaw dropped and stayed there for about 10 minutes before I noticed.

I was shocked when I saw it. I am actually surprised that I didn't freak out when I saw it. I thought it was a hoax and couldn't believe it. Then it was like finally it was mentioned but actually it wasn' that big of a deal. I joke that I wet myself but in truth, it took too long, it was like yeah it was announced no big deal. I mean, game is not here so we still can't play it.

Yes I am excited about it, and thrilled, but not as excited as I thought I would be when it was announced.

Don't get me wrong I am excited that a new Elder Scrolls is in the works but honestly all I could think after I watched the trailer was, is this all they have for us after waiting and waiting to even hear if they are thinking about doing another Elder Scrolls game? It seemed really short and I was hoping for a bit more to tell the truth.... :huh:

This is Bethesda we are talking about! :tongue: We'll get the goods soon enough, but they have a well thought out marketing plan and they always stick to it. I'm sure we will have screen shots of Skyrim in the near future. Whether it's from the official website, or it's an inside exclusive like Game Informer did on Oblivion years ago.
