Regions you would like to see.

For me, I would like Skyrim to be very much based on the landscapes of Canada and Iceland (and other Scandinavian countries), which is most likely the case. I really like the one concept art of the dragon flying into the coastal, valley town in the GameInformer magazine, that tundra I hope is featured a lot and in a very large, open area. As well as some volcanic like areas, but not like the Mordor ones with lots of black and red, instead the beaches with the interesting rocks and colors, like in Iceland. I'd also like some long (sometimes foggy) beaches, with at least one that looks like this: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2420/2173986052_ee9465fe3e.jpg. Also really liked the yellow birch forest in one of GI screenshots, really hoping for seasonal changes though, even with just subtle differences, seems possible now that snow is not just a texture, leaf color/quantity change would be really cool though. What regions would you like to see?

Some kind of jungle or tropical forest would be nice.

A frozen jungle with all kinds of weird colors and fireflies... It makes no sense, but neither do huge mushroom houses. :teehee:

Not really regions, but more like landscapes.
I made a thread about this a few weeks ago: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1150941-unique-landscapes-in-skyrim/page__hl__unique+landscapes

Here's the list I posted and still want:

1) high and very steep mountains, high and low hills (like in The Shire!), and big and small valleys Mountain, valley, hill
2) very deep forests, "un-deep" forests ( haha couldn't think of an antonym, English is not my first language )
3) open fields with very few trees standing on lines next to each other, avenues (I'm speaking of with trees of course), REAL farmlands, stone fences along some fields. Field and stone fence

4) fallen trees (that hasn't become a "log" yet), logs. Let them be on different places, not just on plain ground, but near steeps and water, over rivers, etc.
5) rocks! Huge, small, and strange rocks, and many of them! Some should be so big that they can almost count as mountains! Rock 1 Rock 2 Rock 3 A lot of rocks!

6) rivers, creeks, and streams... and lots of them! Very very small and very very big ones! Let some have waterfalls, let some lead to caves... where you can enter! Let them have lots of stone! And let them be on very different places, from forests, to farmlands, to high up in the mountains! Let some have bridges over them, etc! River 1 River 2 River leading into the mountain
7) have some look-out points! Where you can climb to a "plateau" of some rocks, and have a great view.
8) Glaciers, avalanches. Try to make the snowy parts as unique as possibly by making the glaciers/ice have cool and unique formations. Don't let me feel like everything's the same just because it's all snow/ice. Icicles can make it more unique, so please add that... huge ones.

I heard its gonna be like Alaska. Perhaps I did not.

I hope it won't look like Canada. If it is I might me tempted to go into the Rockies and try to kill bears with a sword.

I agree with the second post - a jungle/tropical forest, with white sand beaches and palm trees or/and abstract tropical trees. I'd also like to see a desert.
