Good filesharing sites

Title sort of says it all.

I'm going to buy an MP3 player at the weekend, and being a complete noob to this sort of thing, I'd like to know if any of you have any advice as regards downloading MP3s from teh interwebz. Does anyone know any good, reliable sites where I can download them, preferably cheap/free, legal and virus-free?

Good luck

Oh, and there are no legal "filesharing sites" where you can download mp3 files. You can purchase music online but it won't be from a filesharing site.

Agree, as for software that are trial or given free, I go to Cnet / Downloads.

Only if you don't pay for it :)

There are plenty of websites that allow you to download the music you pay for as mp3 files.

It depends on the type of MP3 though.
Not all Mp3s are illegal.

MP3s can be a recording of a podcast. :) That's legal downloading because the people who made the podcast have the MP3 out.

So, to say that all MP3s are illegal isn't correct.
There are legal ways to do anything just about.

Nope, not legally and we don't discuss illegal stuff here. Sorry.
