I hope this game revamps the way characters react when you'r

One thing that annoyed me so much in Oblivion is walking past people whom which I have no intention of speaking to and hearing them all stop and say "Yes? What is it?". I think they shouldn't even say anything until you're already staring at them for a little while...

And speaking of staring, whenever I walk into a tavern or a store or something, everyone suddenly stops and stares at me. And I also hated how when two or more characters would be talking to each other and the ones who aren't speaking would be staring at me. Do I have something on my face?

Am I the only one that was bothered by this?

Good point there. Hopefully Bethesda noticed this problem, and it'll be corrected.

mostly i want when you're a guildmaster, for lower-level faction members to react to you as a guildmaster. like the imperial legion should salute to you. the mages guild could give a slight bow, maybe the thieves guild could give you an assuring nod.

Well, that didn't particularly bother me in previous games, but Skyrim would be sooo much better if they fixed it.

What does that even mean??????

Thats like watching a film where every actor just stares at the screen constantly whilst delivering lines and saying "eh, doesn't bother me, it's a film".

Another useless post from you. Weldone, we are all aware it's a video game and are here to discuss it. Are you not? If not, why don't you go somewhere else instead of trolling here?

Have to agree with this. Hell they don't even have to add anything, just stop those damn imperial guards saying "move along citizen", when i've saved their entire $%%*ing World.

Generic greetings aside, the reactions based on your highest attributes/skills were pretty bad.

"YOU HAVE THE HANDS OF AN ILLUSIONIST!"

What was the point of that?

edit: And there was the guard behavior. First they salute you as the Arena Champion/Hero of Kvatch/etc, then seconds later the same guard warns you to behave yourself because of your murder count/infamy.

And, if I'm head of the Mages Guild I want the Battlemages to stop greeting me as the Arcane University's newest member. I am the newest member but they should have some respect....

Some passerby once said "You look skilled in Alteration." Oh [censored]! How the hell did he know that? Is all that magic starting to make my fingers purple?

Not sure why this hasnt been mentioned, but I think that Radiant AI will help address a lot of these issues.

I hated going in to someones house after hours for a mission, and how they always got mad that you were in their house. Upon entering conversation however its like they have a completely different personality. Exit dialog, and they go right back to "Get out or I'll call the guards!" I didnt like how every NPC suffered from a bipolar disorder.

Since you can now have friendly and unfriendly relationships with NPC's I think the bipolar issue is taken care of. It seems like BS has put a lot more into NPC interactions so Im hoping that NPCs wont all feel like "Insert corny dialog here"

In the IGN interview Todd Howard said that unimportant NPCs wont react to you unless you explicitly activate them.
