That was... a great read. You deserve cake for your work!

I second that notion

Excellent work! I'm sure we could expand on this if we all put some effort in. Based on your evidence, I'm not sure that your final map is completely accurate. Here's my hypothetical map based on what you presented for the location of the spinal ruins:

This is really great and all, but you know... the game will be out in 7 months, and all your questions will be answered. You're probably gonna look back and be like... man, this game's great, but I had way too much time on my hands 7 months ago. Still, you've sure found a lot of depth in this trailer, so kudos.

Excellent anolysis. I don't know how accurate you are but it seems to make sense to me. Right on.

This anolysis is wonderful. One additional thing I noticed was at 0:21 in the trailer you can see a graphical 'error' in the loading of terrain or something:

Lol, how many times did you watch the trailer to notice that? :P

I've tried anolysing the trailer like this, but everytime I see it I just forget to think and get caught up in its epicness. :P

I dub Dragon Shout Cliff to be the second best place to send annoying characters to their doom.
Next to High Hrothgar.

How many youtube videos are those areas going to breed?

Excellent!!! At the very end of the trailer (where the dragon flies from its perch), you can see a river below. This would make more sense if the spinal ruins are where you're suggesting. If that's the case, then perhaps the large mountain we are seeing is not HH and rather the smaller one right next to it, to the west.
