Meh, I'm fine with 3 1/2. :P

Speaking of which, I really should go to sleep, now, so goodnight to all.

It would seem I'm ahead of schedule, then. I'm only in high school and I think I've mastered the art of not sleeping. :P

Except in my case. Five years of it and my body decided to rebel.

You want late nights? Try taking an Architectural Design course....

Anyways, back on topic, I suppose, I can't wait to see what has been done with the hair in Skyrim.

Why does everyone get all narcissistic with hair in this game? It's hair! who CARES if it moves in the ambient wind, when the plants and your arrows don't?

M'aiq's mane is stiff and knotted, M'aiq now wishes to collect combs apart from his caliper collection.

Any idea on when we'll start seeing graphics like this in PC games?

I'd be fine with plastic Morrowind hair - most of my characters wear dramatic robes or open-face helmets anyway, so frankly it's the least of my concerns. Of all things, why don't you people complain about the water or the fact the rocks all still have that spec-mapped sheen to them, not the hair. :P

When DX11 has either been 1) The standard for a fair while/DX12 is a huge leap or 2) When next generation consoles are out depending on their tech.

Doubtful. These tech demos serve to show what current technology can do if it's dedicated to a single thing. We could have hyper-realistic hair like that now, but not alongside a game world and with it on the heads of countless NPCs all at the same time. As for next-generation consoles, something tells me that they still won't even hold a candle to today's current PCs. Cost efficiency and whatnot.

I'd rather them spend their time on something more worthwhile, like improving enemy AI or creating new items.
