Dunmer are they Evil, Good, Indifferent?

Hmm... the Redoran are like the Pharisees, the Hlallu are like the Sadducees (sp?), the Ashlanders are like the Essenees, and the Telvanni? I have no idea where they fit.

and the Telvanni? I have no idea where they fit.

They are mad wizards and their seemingly unnecesary mercenaries living in towers made of living fungus. Do they need a real-world equivalent?

When in doubt, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pharisees is your friend.

I still have it, but I happened across this picture on the internet, and instantly thought, "It's One-Clan-Under-Moon-and-Star!" So, naturally, I had to make it my avatar.

Good and evil is relevant to every specific person. Of course, every society and religion has their own morals so that is what most people would base such accusations on. That said, the Dunmer as a whole cannot be considered "good" or "evil". That would be like saying all black people love white women and chicken or all white people can't dance. Stereotypes may be funny but you can't use them to make accusations.

Telvanni are the like the egyptians somewhat, though completely different at the same time. In the Book of Enoch, there is a story of how egyptians sorcerors used levitation to get into Heaven, and were cast out of Heaven and fell back to Earth and died.

Wouldn't of happened if they each had their own patented Wizard's Staff though.

Eh? The Telvanni are practically the exact opposite of the Ancient Egyptians!

Ancient Egypt:
-Philosophy is concerned with maintaining the cosmic order of the universe.
-Permanant stone and mudbrick architecture.
-Agrarian culture
-Powerful religious state
-Monarchy
-Civilization built around a river.

House Telvanni:
-Practically anarchists.
-Organic dwellings.
-Mercenary and scholar culture.
-Agnostic
-Run by a council of representatives.
-Civilization built around giant fungi.

I think the Dunmer are just different. They can be angry or mad because of what had happened to them with their skin color but they're not evil for it.
