New maps and general gameplay

Hi everyone i have an idea for a new map as i know BRINK have a new map update coming out soon. I was thinking if you took the Container City idea but tried to add in many more areas that involved sliding or jumping across gaps depending on what character body weight type you are. Everyone loves the parkour part of the game as well as the shooting and i think Splash Damage should focus more on the parkour style of gameplay in their new maps rather than the first person shooter aspect. Also the map should include more close quarters fighting to allow the players more of a challenge limiting their abilities to sit back and pic off players as they round corners.

When it comes to general gameplay i think the game is excellent. However I think in Be More Objective Two Star the hack box part is generally to hard but apart from that the level is excellent i just suggest moving the hack box somewhere else. Also i think the sniper rifle should be a one shot kill and that the light body weight class should have more guns to choose from as although the SMG class is good they lack in range or high damage. lastly i believe their should be an equipment part that increases damage but significantly lowers another attribute for example range.

Totally agree with you! There should be more parkour maps 'cause people just love it. :biggrin: But I'm not sure about that damage increase. Sniper rifles should do little more damage, but not others. That's just my opinion. And yes, light class need more weapons like dual wield pistols, double barrel shotgun.. Something like that. About those Be More Objective challenges, you just need some good luck and skills.

Disagreed on damage.

They're not called Sniper Rifles in game - they're called Light Rifles. The game is meant to discourage camping and conventional sniper tactics.

An Engineer can buff the weapon enough that it's a on-shot on a mildly-buffed Medium without needing to aim for the head. That's pretty nasty, imo.

Also, there are a LOT more uses for the SMART system than most people realise on the current maps. Just because you're not handed a roadmap with it, doesn't mean the routes aren't there.

When I thing about that, your right. But it should be great to have some real parkour maps. And I writed 'sniper rifle' because I didn't remember the name of 'em. :facepalm:
