Worst...Quest...EVER!

Seeing as there were so many quests in Oblivion, some had to be bad. So which was your least favourite quest and why?

Allies for Bruma. Too many Oblivion Gates.

On a side note, maybe this topic should be moved to the Spoilers section. Because giving reasons for disliking a quest will probably lead to giving away spoilers.

Go Fish.

When it comes to immersion, this one is un-salvageable.

At least it pays well.

The main quest...

Because its "Go to the other side of the map and get me a trinket, then come all the way back so I can send you to the other extreme of the world".
There is no thinking involved. Not like Morrowind.

Paranoia. Blegh.

Unfinished Business, Maglir makes me maaaaad.

Cheydinhal Recommendation, it's quite hard for a low level, low strength character.

The one where you have to get the slaughterfish out of the lake. Really annoyed me, there was no precise way of doing it.

I'll have to say the Sheogorath Shrine quest. It is not a badly done quest at all but I dislike it because it badly hurt my character.

She can usually recognize a quest she finds repugnant and has no trouble walking away, but this one was insidious. Yes, she was young and na?ve, but she trusted the Daedra Lord when he implied the quest would be a harmless practical joke. Buffy now lives with the guilt and shame of destroying the dreams of a whole little formerly peaceful village, not to mention the cruelty at the end. That is why I don't like the quest.

My character will never again lift a finger to help that little Daedra Lord. :nope:
