No, I think this forum is irrationally harsh toward shooter fans, particularly CoD fans. It's ridiculous, people thinking that RPG players are more intelligent than FPS players.

QFT. CoD is not the antichrist of gaming that people here seem to think it is. Who cares if Activision pumps out one a year, one day it'll stop being popular and then they'll look very foolish for killing off all their franchises.

For the record, I only play CoD singleplayer, and it's pretty great, especially MW1. I much prefer BC2's multiplayer. And people need to stop complaining about how unrealistic it is, it's not supposed to be a [censored] training sim or something.

I don't know, i've never run into one. However people who constantly complain that CoD is the worst thing to happen to gaming do.

I played Modern Warfare, not too bad SP campaign, i can definetly see why it's popular, and will buy MW2 when a low enough Steam Sale comes along

Do we really need a thread like this every week? All they really do is serve as flamebait for fans of the series. If you guys can't criticize a game without calling the people who play it "stupid" and "childish", then you shouldn't say anything at all.

Agreed, there are fans of CoD and similar games here on the forum and we don't need threads like this.
