Does Mehrunes razor really kill with one swipe? I have never used it because its a dagger. If its true I might finally be able to forget my prejudice against daggers!

It does in the lore and in Oblivion. In Morrowind, it just did a good deal of damage.

I like goldbrand the most but I haven't got Chrysamere yet in Morrowind. I like Mentor's ring for trinkets and Lord's mail the most for armor. Still I haven't got Dragonbone cuirass yet and I'm predicting Dragonbone cuirass will besome my favorite once I find it.

In Morrowind isn't there a Dragonbone Cuirass? If so, that was it.

Yes, there's one of those in Morrowind.

My favorites (in Morrowind) are the Cuirass of the Savior's Hide, the Skeleton Key, and Keening.

I haven't played Oblivion recently-enough to remember all the artifacts, but I remember the Skeleton Key's awesomeness there, too ^_^

Thank you for clearing that up. The Dragonbone Cuirass then.

The DragonsBone Mail, The Ice Blade of the Monarch,And Vampiric Ring. Only because it was on the List. Otherwise it would of been Hircines Ring. and Hircines Hunters Amulet of Speed.

Normally Goldbrand was my first choice, but after they turn it to a daedric weapon I choose "Skull Crusher", "Fists of Randagulf" and "Mentor's Ring".

I like Goldbrand of the weapons, and Warlock's Ring of the trinkets, and then Dragonbone Cuirass as armor. Dragonbone cuirass has the highest Armor Rating a Cuirass can get, and along with the immune to fire, it is great!

I'm torn between the Mask of Clavicus Vile, Fists of Randagulf, and Eleidon's Ward for the armor (all of which were utilized briefly by one character of mine), but I've never actually USED any of the mentioned artifact weapons; they mostly ended up occupying spaces on my display rack or in a museum. Umbra in MW, for example, was "redundant", since my character was already carrying a dedicated self-enchanted "soultrap" weapon, and already had a decent "main" weapon with an enchantment better suited to combat. Never having played a character who took Axe as a Major skill, for instance, I didn't see any reason to equip several of the other artifacts when the character got them.

Considering that my characters in MW and OB never used Glass or Daedric armor either (in spite of having pieces on display in quantity), and finished the MQ in MW with an Imperial Dragonscale cuirass and OB with mostly Dwemer gear, the "uber" equipment isn't really necessary, so my characters don't actively pursue it. Many of those items are difficult, or nearly impossible, to run into by accident, and the high incidence of familiarity with them indicates to me that a lot of players are just reading the wiki and going straight for the "goodies", rather than "experiencing" the various portions of Tamriel that are revealed to us in the games.
