I miss Hlormar

Post » Sun May 01, 2011 2:40 pm

After spending time - too much sometimes - with companions in Dragon Age and Mass Effect, I get lonely on the road. Hlormar is good company and loyal. Even if I hit him and we fight, if I leave for a few seconds all is forgiven.

The problem is he cannot leave Arkngthand ruin. When he gets to the top he slips and falls. But when ever I go back to the ruin he is faithfully there helping me and I feel bad when I leave.

I have spent at least 2 hours trying to understand console commands at various sites, however, I have decided I'm too old to learn algebra. I do not understand these #1, #2, #3, symbols. Will someone please give me the explicit commands, including what is capitalized and what is not, for the console to send him to Balmora outside the Mages Guild, so he will continue to follow me?

Thank-you

P.S. If he continues good deeds I might give him some shoes to wear.

I had problems with a "fetch so-and-so" quest when so-and-so would get stuck. I ended up making a Levitate Other spell (1 point for 30 seconds), and added a Command spell on top, if he started wandering instead of following.

Another option would be using the Console command TCL to turn off collision letting you (and anyone else - so bad idea during fights) walk thru walls.

Thanks sooo very much. This is very doable.

Download the Companion Teleport mod so you can add him to your companion list, and later summon all companions to your current location.
