Drop summoned items

Post » Mon May 02, 2011 12:50 am

Hello everybody!
That's it: dropping summoned items, putting them to the ground (in my personal store in Balmora...) that's what I want to do.
so I can admire my bound dragger or long sword in all their magnificency.
How can I do it?
I could do it when I had vanilla Morrowind, but now with the Bloodmoon patch it's impossible.
please help!!!

Bound items cannot be dropped.
If you could do it in the older version of the game, that was technically a glitch. With the Bloodmoon update, bound items work correctly in that they cannot be dropped anymore.

I believe summoned items are weightless Daedric items. Collect those if you want to admire them.

Cannot be certain but I recall something about if you summon a second weapon the first one gets placed in inventory which can then be dropped

I've tried that and i get the message saying that i can't cast a spell that is already in effect.

Here's the trick - Create a spell via "spellmaking" at your local mages' guild that includes the summon effect and another effect. This allows you to summon item A with the original Summon A spell, then use your custom spell, let's call it "Summon A for 5 sec, Summon B for 5 sec" The logic to check for an existing summoned 'A' will not work on the custom spell, so your original summoned A will get kicked to your inventory when you Summon and automatically wear the new 'A' via your custom spell. You now have Item A in your inventory, and are wearing an additional one. What you do with them is your business....
