You can use one, but you'd have to download software that translates every button onto a key of the keyboard (which is basically what games with support for gamepads do anyways).

I'm not sure where you'd get such a download, but I'm pretty sure it's fairly simple. Also, try amazon for a controller?

You could just use a 360 controller, if you have one.

If you don't, trust me, once you get used to it, keyboard and mouse is much more comfortable and you probably should just get used to keyboard+mouse or plug in a 360 controller you already have instead of wasting money on a PC controller.

It does but it can be iffy and it is actually choppier on the 360 than it is on the original box. I fixed up my original xbox just to play it.

I got a gamepad because I saved over $40 than getting the 360 PC controller. It works well, but the problem I have is and I am upset nobody mentioned it, is that you still need the mouse. You can't scroll the map without it. You can change you armoy or weapons without it, and you can't take or put things in inventory without it. So I am slowly getting use to using my controller (or gamepad what ever you call it now) and mouse when I need it. I am surprised my Logitec 310 worked quite easy with Morrowind. Yes I have hiccups with it, but after a minutes it works quite well, till I need a mouse. So far I can't find how to use the right thumbstick to act like a mouse.

Now only if I could get Oblivion to work with it.
