im real new to modding, have mastered installing and playing other ppls mods , by the way there are some great mods out there kudos to those ppl.

so logically my next step was to try and make my own been reading a few manuals , I have a little experience with scripting such as HTML/XHTML and some

some database , but i cant get the construction set to work properly ive dl two times have all min req but it keeps crashing with not responding , i have a few

mods installed but not active , as well as OBSE i dont know if they are what is interfering or what. If anyone has a clue or has had the same problem i could use some insight thx

see is your game and tescs the same version,,recomended version is 1.2 ,

yea i have the UAC disabled for several reasons not just Oblivion, the security is just redonkulous with vista , but anyways i was playing around with it last night and it is working but it just goes in and out of "Not responding" but if i wait 2 mins it comes back is that normal ?

i thought i read some where that the software was finicky like that but i don't remember oh and i am running 1.2.404 i think thats the latest version

The CS needs some time to load all the data (Oblivion.esm). It's normal that the CS doesn't respond during this time. You should be able to see the loading progress in the status bar as long as the CS window is active.

no, yea the program grays out and says (not-responding) but if u wait a min it comes back , so i naturally thought i had a bad dl and maybe still do but it does work

and im on my way to modding , so far i have added an item , and then added a new basemant to a tavern still learning, the CS makes it real easy havent done any
