Site is at the moment rather slow ye.
I believe a batch of highly trained tech-monkeys are working on the problem.

The slow loading issue should be fixed today(Monday). They need time to be able to roll this out to all of their servers which will fix how slow this is.
The "highly trained tech-monkeys" might not give you your beta key since you called them that Terror

As Kraden said, the site is currently being rolled out to all their live servers today... so performance will improve once this is done.
Also, (i imagine) there is a lot of people bombarding the site at the moment as it is new (and with the news of beta keys for founding members). Give it a couple of days and everything should work itself out.
