My current character's current fame is 114. According to the UESP, fame is supposed to be increased by 2 points upon completion of the "Blood of the Divines" quest, but for some reason, it doesn't for me. I am playing the PS3 GOTY version and the UESP doesn't mention anything related to this. I've reloaded and tried completing the quest again, but nothing happened that time, either. Has anyone else ever experienced this, does anyone know what the problem may be, and may anyone else check to see if their fame increases, either?

My current problem fame-wise is my Infamy is maybe three or four points lower than my Fame, but the churches still tell me to repent my evil ways. Aren't you supposed to be able to use the churches for cures/curse-lifting as long as your Fame is higher?

I have the same problem!!! I'm pretty sure I don't have a bounty.

I must have a glitch - I just finished Knights of the Nine and went into the little chapel to use the altar and it told me to repent my evil ways - and I had no Infamy points, no bounty and had done nothing wrong. Technically I had stolen two horses (the bay and chestnut behind the Nine priory) but still... :shrug:

how do i get fame ?? im pretty damn good at getting infamy started a new profile already up to 3 infamy and all i did was kill 1 guy and pick 2 locks and steal like 20-50 alembics and otehr alchemical apparaus from the mages guild :/

My fame is 136, no infamy. I think that's the max. I've got the same Oblivion version as the OP.
