Hi! I bought Oblivion on Steam just two days ago. I've been modding like crazy, but found the game unusable because of a very weird problem- I cannot use the Container Menu on anything. Anything! Corpses, chests, barrels, sacks- the Container Menu comes up, and clicking on it -anywhere- closes the menu again immediately. Clicking on the container again brings up the Container menu just fine, but none of the objects move from the container to my inventory- even if I use 'Take All'. Please help!

I am running Windows 7 on a 2008 Macbook Pro. The download is from Steam GOTY (not the pack), and even when I am only running Oblivion.esm, the error still happens. What can I do to fix this?

How is it you are running Win 7 on a Mac? I suspect the problem is a combination of using a Windows OS on a Mac platform in addition to Steam, since the latter has separate versions for both OS's.
