I've never acidentally killed a companion, usually there's a reason for it. :hubbahubba: LOL :whoops:

Also I don't recall any friendly fire on my behalf.

This.

Every time I shoot Boone's whiney face, it's quite intentional.

A few times. I rarely use VATS, but when I do, as soon as I enter ATS someone insists on standing right in front of my gun. And, of course, being unable to exit VATS, they die. Grr.

I blew up rex once with a stick of dynamite. It was a trying day after that could hardly hold in the tears. Also killed Boone in cold blood because well......I don't know he looked at me cross ways? Yeah, that's it.

Veronica, Rebar club, sneak, it would magically pass through NCR troopers when close and hit Veronica right in the face.
I had to load several times, due to the fact she would always place herself directly behind every single one.

Ive never killed a companion. I don't think I've ever shot one either. Im not a tactical player so I just run up close and shotgun to face so it's hard for me to shoot my companions. I have pointed my gun in their face for being in my way.

I used to use rex, but he would always run into my gunfire/club swing/IED and die horribly.... ED-E all the way now. Charisma 10 goes a long way toward preventing accidental companion casualties.

I've never killed a companion by accident, although I've probably winged one now and then. Of course, this is probably because when I have companions, I hardly do any fighting myself, so there's not too many chances of my shooting them anyway. :D

Actually, I've had companions kill ME....I once stuck some grenades in Boone's inventory to hold for me then forgot...and then during one fight he decided to start chucking grenades...when the enemy was close to me. A couple other times they'd go running off to hunt and trigger traps I didn't notice, which killed me.

I've never accidentally killed a companion, although I've often used them for weapons testing (before reloading a save). They're actually pretty durable, and I take care to not hit them.

Technically speaking.....no. Since I don't play on hardcoe, they just get KO'd. However I will say I've shot Veronica in the ass more times than I care to count. I would have killed her about 25 or 30 times by now, directly, had I been on hardcoe. Total friendly fire incidents are likely in the thousands.. ED-E hovers above my line of fire so I rarely TK him, though I'm hesitant to use my Fat Man because he will undoubtedly get sent into orbit.

Then there's my habit of trolling Deathclaw and my followers. I'll perch up on a rock, take one potshot at a deathclaw, then let Veronica and ED-E sock it out while I practice my trollface. It's great fun...until they both get KO'ed and I'm sent scrambling for my AK.

sneak mode in cave guardian+boone spots enemy+boone runs in front of my silenced sniper rifle (pre-patch)+sneak critical= "boone has died!"

i laughed at that point just because he ran into my line of fire RIGHT as i fired, but then i reloaded :P

Give her thump thump, it's hilarious. The first thing you know explosions all over, she's not good with it but exciting ... yes.

I've come close with Oh Baby, had to feed her most of my stipmpacks more than once.

I've deliberately killed ED-E a few times because he has a bad habit of pushing me (yes, I reloaded after I got it out of my system). Maybe I should have just made him move back a little. :whistling:

The most idiotic companion death was when I was aiming my holorifle at some NCR troopers while in sneak mode, and just as I press the trigger, Veronica walks right in front of the scope. Had to get out the vacuum cleaner after that.

Seriously, Veronica is like Dogmeat in FO1, suicidal like crazy. :(

Yes, Veronica is one of the dumbest companions to have. She always leaps into my line of fire and she always melees 2 or 3 enemies up close so I can't get a shot in without hitting her. Now I use her only to get into the BoS bunker and maybe do her quest quickly if its convinent for me. Then I dump her off at the Lucky 38 and continue with Boone (or anyone else).
