Not very computer literate. Have never played a PC version game before. These mods look awsome though! What should I do as far as new PC? I know this is probably a bid reduntant....hell, I may not have posted in the right spot!

I just want advice from you PC modders/ players on what I should look into as far as a gaming machine that can handle ESIV and newer games such as FO3.

My budget is $1500. Thanks, and mods please move to right location if this is wrong:)

Get a Corei7 machine. Maybe a Radeon 5870. Or you could wait a month or so until the new Core i9 series comes out and nVidia's DX11 GPU's. I heard they will be called the GTX4xx's.

At least for Oblivion, the single item that mostly hampers the framerate is the plain CPU speed. Multiple cores will not help you, only plain old CPU speed. So look for the fastest possible CPU. A fast dual core is better than a slower quad core for Oblivion, and probably for most other games. For GPU, the most important as long as it is pretty decent, is the amount of VRAM. 512MB should be minimum, but 1024MB better for Oblivion.
