Now guys, I seriously want some help here, I usualy never ask for help in these kinds of threads - but I really need it.

I am going to give Oblivion a new shot. I Played it to death a few years ago and every time I played it I ended up in the mod-trench never finnishing the games quests.

Could you guys please give me a few tips for stable mods that doesn't change the game to much.

Before I played OOO alot, loved it, but it is just to slow for my tastes and possibilities for gaming time now a days. I don't have the time to deal with a lot of management and secondary tasks around the game - but still wouldn't play vanilla, mostly because it has such obvious, irritating flaws and UI.

So - is there any modpack that fixes the game, adds virtually nothing irritating, and gives it a nice touchup, without any significant messing around?

Your best bet for modular separate mods is to check out TesNexus.com and Planetelderscrolls.com. There are just too many individual mods for people to list and you would be better off going on a treasure hunt for them. Chances are you'll find alot of unknown gems which will satisfy you where the more popular mods may not.
