I have kind of fallen in love with my hunting revolver. Is the ammo associated with the gun a real kind of ammo or is it fictional.

WOW they are like rifle rounds.

Not like, they ARE rifle rounds, thats why the Hunting Revolver and the Ranger Sequoia are badass.

I just want to know where I can find more of the ammo. Seems to be the rarest type, which is a damn shame seeing as how the weapons that use it seem to be the best Deathclaw killers. Maybe I should go get the Gobi sniper rifle now that I finally got 100 Lockpick.

You can craft it from .308 rounds if you have the casings, the NCR and the Gun Runners sell the ammo in large amounts

Everyone sells the ammo now after the update. The guy at the dam, both gun runner shops and pretty much all the ammo is sold except for hand load.

Because of the high base damage, the HP ammo is better up to anything with a 10 DT.

I just buy the regular and convert it all to SWC anyways. Shame you can't breakdown HP.
