Crysis 2 Boss Projection!

The big bad boss at the end of the game, the daddy... i reckon its under the city of NYC, i say this because of the rods or tentacles we have seen bursting upwards through buildings etc, gotta be something mental down there...

Yesss! In the final battle, you will have to shine a mega flashlight on it from space. The beast will become afraid of it's shadow, retreat back into the earth all the way to the core, where it's boiled alive. The earth is safe once again... from aliens.

my take on those pole things bursting up is like those big organic spike things in crysis 1 and warhead, although evolved like the aliens...

My theory would be those organic poles coming from the ground must be connected with the ancient alien base which was seen in the first game (The Core).

Seems very likely if it's something that hasn't come from the sky.

Like to think we gunna drive em outa New York, back to the Ling Shan islands, thus saving New York, when we can again shoot Koreans, and Aliens, and blow some stuff up :D

Well Cevat confirmed my theory/idea today...

"In 2023, having been buried deep inside the earth, the aliens are awakening underneath New York and everywhere in the world causing worldwide martial law situations. This explains the huge alien spikes coming from below the streets and causing massive destruction, as seen in the gameplay clips and in the 3D trailer."

Crysis-2 MP levels... bet you anything there's going to be a level just in times-square! :) one on the subway and another in central park :) please join in with the ideas...

@TOXIC, well that all sounds swell to me, so London could still get attacked, an one of those big spikes could thrust up in the middle of a parliament sitting, while all the rich biatches are discussing how to screw us all for more money, Hell I would pay lots to see that. :D But heres a thought, what it the Ling Shang is connected to the New York, wich is connected to, and so on, and you could travel between them at high speed, like the tubes inside the core, what a rush!! would be an expensive game though ? lol

So that Boss from Crysis warhead decends from the cloud, sweeps in low, and we see, that Korean Colonels head mounted on the hood like a kickass trophy, and then it gloes and plays a long low tone what fries every bodys brain, lmao

xD n1 guss, and oh noes, 7's city is gonna be attacked xD. I dont think we will go back to ling shan islands (probably destroyed/frozen solid), and what if, that the final underground boss, is actually growing, and those spikes come from him, then you have to destroy each heavily guarded underground node, from which the spike rises, causing all of the aliens to weaken, then face a big angry boss that rises out of the ground, taking you up too, and throwing buildings, and then you do some **** and kill it ^^. Damn its R:FOM and Resistance 2 all over again xD. with a bit of mixing and matching. BTW, they should also make an MP level INSIDE and around the dead body of the huge boss^^. Sick, i know. @guss that was actually an alien warship. remember the end of C1? aliens come out of it, but the kickass trophy theory could still work ;) .

Actually i think its possible to remodel the ling shan islands, and putting them waaaaaaaaaaay far away, then making an areabeziervolume or using a gravity valve that teleports you all the way. Could make an MP map for that, but alot of work, and you need to make that map as big as possible. But making it huuge wouldnt be too tough ^^ .

oh and the spikes are for "intergalictical uber speedy transportation" ^^ im just saying this off the top of my head, all copied from resistance 1 ^^ but seriously, the story already resembles R1 -.-. Im also eating ice cream while typing so my imagination is crazy right now lol.
