as the title says: how can i remove the motion blur as crytek went retarted and didnt include a way to do thisas they did in crysis warhead! can someone please walk me through this? i absolutely cant play this game untill i can turn this off(motion blur) as its making me very very sick. if this isnt fixable hopefully crytek has the forthought to fix this andSOOOOOOOON!!!!!! id like to actualy get to play the game ! not sit and look at a pretty box on my desk!

They removed the ability to turn it off as well as the majority of most of the graphics CVARS.

i truly hope sir they do fix the motion blur as i physically get sick from it being on ....maybe the next (HOPEFULLY SOOOOON) patch. ya man i agree this IS rediculous i mean dont they even test these pc games BEFORE the release it? ok this same crap happened on bioshock 2 and was never fixed. i ended up playing it on the 360 once i could buy the game for 12$ lol. the first 2 crysis games were utterly amazing this one so far looks like dung to say the least its not even heating my video card nor does the game look as "crisp" as the first 2

You can still turn off some settings with the System.cfg, motionblur is among them, just go to your Crysis root directory and open system.cfg in notepad and put r_motionblur = 0 somewhere in there, there's a few other options you can change too, look at this thread: http://www.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=10892

You put r_motionblur = 0 in the system.cfg and it didn't work? Weird..... it seems to work just fine for me. Only thing that doesn't work is r_glow. Maybe it has something to do with where you place it in the cfg..... don't see why that would be the case though.

Make a autoexec.cfg file in the same folder as System.cfg and put it there.

This is not how launches should work and we should not become accustomed to this! Having to access root program files/folders just to get what you want out of a game is not the right way a game should be developed. Shame on Crytek, shame on us for being okay with it.

Nah, pretty sure tweaks like this have been in most games since the beginning of time. Pretty much every game has some file you can edit to make it run better/faster/more to your preferences.

I love this feature but I agree they should give the people with poor vision or motion sickness the ability to turn it off.

The switch from cry1 to cry2 is ridiculously awful. How can a game like crysis 1 ever become a watered down game like crysis 2? Do you have any idea of the shortcomings of crysis 2 or are you just a fanboy?
