/facepalm.

Your own avatar is facing forward so it is easier for you to spot your own posts. =) I do wish that Crytek would let us change it though. This website is getting really stale. =/

A lot of the oldtimers stopped posting... It makes me sad, nobody can understand my pineapple nomad jokes anymore. :(

This website needs a major update. The only reason it has so much traffic is because of the beta sign ups. Once the beta fever goes down, this place will be dead. Needs a major update, it should have been done by now. I know snails that can update a website faster than Crytek. :D

I keep taking long breaks with hopes that when I come back the forums are improved in some way. I keep being disappointed :(

I would just be well happy to get a firm pre-order from my store, :D

And that the beta people tend to make one or two posts... And they expect a beta key for that? If anything, the highest post counts will get the keys first, as that shows we are the most dedicated. =)

A beta isn't a god given right, but those single digit posters sure think so. And when no beta rolls around, the single digit posters will be gone. So update the site while you can still attract potential dedicated forum members Crytek! ;) After the want beta fever dies down, the potential is lost until release time or actual beta release!

LOL. what they will only give beta keys out to..what maybe 20-30 people from this site that post alot?! yeah thats right. if/when public beta runs, they have largish amounts of players to do it, don't any of u remember crysis1 beta. it was tied to file share subscription sites back then to start with, any method where someone gets some money somewhere, even if that's just pre-orders too.

Its being done differently this time. This time, its being tied directly to this website, atleast for the first wave of beta keys.

From what I saw in that news post, it said that they'd be tracking early users. So I can assume it's being done as we post each time.

It is rather odd that you can't change your avatar. I wanted my awesome Darth Maul one. And this is the fastest I have seen a thread go off-topic.
