Thank you Crytek!!!

Thank you Crytek for giving us a game that is well optimized and is fun as **** to play.

This game runs smooth as butter and looks wicked even in DX9. It may be a console port, but at least we now have a console port that actually works.

I'm sure more optimizations and PC features will come soon. Thank you and keep up the great work!!

Haters gonna hate regardless.

Agreed. From the rests of the posts, you'd think Crytek advertised the cure for cancer and delivered an animated GIF of stick figures shooting at each other. This game is awesome; the complaints about the graphics are way overblown. I'm running a GeForce GFX 460M in a laptop and this game looks absolutely awesome. Come to think of it, I wonder if anyone remembers how the first Crysis was "the system-breaker" graphically... can you blame Crytek for toning down the graphics so people can actually play it?

I played Crysis with a 7800GTX. Not a system breaker to play, but if you maxed it out, yeah. You don't have to remove features just to please people with lower end systems. You can scale the engine just fine and make everyone happy. Clearly everyone is not happy.

Smooth as butter. (Looks at all the posts from players who can't even get it to run) Wonder what butter looks like where you come from. The whole "Sure, we got the **** end, but at least the **** end has sprinkles!" ideology scares me. Wake up sheeple.

Yes cause back when crysis 1 was released, no one really had any great video cards and dx10.1 was new as ****. But now, we have dx11 video cards, we have mulit gpu for dx11 and even the 6990 is released and soon, the 590 is going to be released so we have more than enough horse power to run it. Why did they not just put dx11? Thats my question. See, the reason I am hating this so much is cause crysis is suppose the set the pc apart from the consoles by delivering graphics that the consoles can only dream of having. Yes, its a fun game but crysis was mainly known for graphics. "Best dx9 game" is like saying: hey guys, we made a game that looks the best from a technology that we had 9-10 years ago. 8 core support, pshhhhh crysis 2 wont even need that...

Thank you, Crytek, for basically useless limited edition/pre-order multiplayer content, thank you for this incredible login system of yours, for wasted hours of attempts to get it to work, thank you very much!

And special "thanks" for that fabulous nickname of mine - it's 4th and the last email address to which my LE code happened to get tied up.

When MaximumPC uses your game to benchmark high-end computers, it's safe to say it rides hard and puts away wet. Then again, my first internet multiplayer experiences were MUDs, so...
