I'll flip if Crysis2's multiplayer has bad teamwork!

I've been a big fan of the Crysis games for years and I'll die if there is a lack of teamwork and it gets infested by immature freaks like MW2 did!

I can imagine more teamwork on PC rather than console I've noticed more teamwork lacks a lot on console games.

You know what would be really cool, some kinda one on one place, say like the second level on Crysis with plenty of room, any dispute between any two gamers, like "im better than you" or "mines better than yours", type thing, they can go an get there rocks of in there, with NO MARKER to identify them or there whereabouts, other than usual equipment like Binos Sites. :D

Crysis has always been a "one against all" kind of game. I wouldn't really count on teamwork unless Crytek does a strong foundational overhaul to the multiplayer.

From what I remember, some of the maps were huge in Crysis. I doubt you can be a Run'N'Gun player, because you can easily be picked off.

Team work was essential. One guy in an APC with another player gunning the turret, whilst the other two either go through, or find another route to assist.

Team work is vital in Crysis, well in the server I played on, it was.

Meh, teamwork is essential in Power Struggle if you want to win, but it's not nearly as important in gamemodes like TeamInstantAction and InstantAction, that are one against all kind of modes.

I hope Crysis 2 has more teamwork gamemodes like Power Struggle, as that gamemode was very well recieved by the community of Crysis. I just wish they would play something other than Mesa or Tarmac, please! Mesa is so overkilled that seeing it in the server browser makes me sick. =(

If Crysis 2 can have teamwork like Bad Company 2 it will be a great multiplayer I think. But if not, I'm probably not going to play Crysis 2 MP much. Okey... If they made the multiplayer a MW2 copy I will like it but then it is not Crysis anymore.

i'll be very surprised if crysis 2 turns out to be the first game in history where teamwork truly works, especially without voice communication and clans. cause most people aint joining any clans or even using a microphone. from my experience your average gamer isnt interested in the social experience of communicating ABOUT whats happening in the game and supporting one another accordingly. back in the day i played bf2 on pc for years. in all that time i had only a few squadmates who wanted to coordinate our assaults or waited tactically for others to respawn (to attack as a team) etc. most players were frag grenade spamming n00bs who ran into firefights without having the slightest orientation, so basically these people didnt even plan their OWN moves.

if crysis 2's teamwork is nonexistant dont blame it on consoles or any other ****, its the players who arent open to the idea. they're gonna see it as that game where you run around and shoot people in the face, oh yeah, and you have superpowers. and thats how they will play.
atleast it might get better with time. the longer the multiplayer mode is online the more skilled players will make up the server population, less of those who ruin MW(1+2)

indeed! without teamwork there is no chance to win the game! I hope they manage to make teamwork even more important so that these mw2 freaks don't even dare to try out the crysis multiplayer ;D

You nailed it. Its not so much the development of teamwork into the game than the people actually using it. Nobody uses teamwork. In Power Struggle, their is a way to coordinate attacks. But nobody really uses them. In Team Instant Action, you are encouraged to play as a team as well. I have had idiots teamkill me for my sniper on Steel Mill.

It is just very hard or impossible to find teamwork outside of leagues and clans. Mainly because most of the people searching for teamwork oriented matches will join a clan for that experience. I wish it could change, but I can't control the idiotic minds of millions of gamers. ^^

To this day, after playing Crysis MP and Wars for over 2 years, I have rarely seen any real teamwork. People may bunch together at times, but there is no real communication or teamwork between them.

I have yet to see any teamwork in crysis wars, although all the teamwork players could be on the the punkbuster servers. (I use 64bit, so no punkbuster for me)

dont think you ever get any teamwork realy, unless you get a clan invite, then you got a chance at least, but you be damm lucky to get in a clan by request alone.
speakin of teamwork, try running the beta for MOH, this guy tried seven times to knife me, then a full mag, then a granade, couldnt figure out why i didnt die, so ran off.
you gotta wonder?
